Meet Your Teacher

Hi! I’m Emily Walker, the owner and teacher of Music Together® Sheridan, and I’m so excited to bring joyful, musical experiences to families in our community!

For the past seven years, I’ve worked professionally as a nanny, caring for young children and becoming passionate about the importance of play, connection, and learning through everyday experiences. Working so closely with children has taught me that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are given the freedom to explore, move, make music, and have fun with the people they love.

Music has always been a special part of my life. I play guitar and love sharing music with others, and I’m especially excited to combine my love of music with my experience working with young children.

I also have a degree in Marketing, which has given me a creative and business-minded foundation for building a welcoming community for local families. But these days, my favorite role is being a mom! My husband and I live in Westminster, and we recently welcomed our first baby girl. Becoming a mother has given me an even deeper appreciation for the special bond between parents and their children—and for how quickly these early years go by.

Music Together® classes are designed for children from birth through age 5 and their grown-ups. My goal is to create a relaxed, playful environment where families can sing, dance, explore instruments, and make wonderful memories together. You don't need to be a "musical" parent or know how to play an instrument. You just need to come ready to have fun!
